1. Measurement confusion and incorrect attribution of fault
We submitted two separate measurement forms on your website for two different products. These measurements were entered carefully as per the online forms.
After submission, we were asked to confirm measurements for the purple Kanvi silk blouse, which were correct and confirmed by us. However, your team repeatedly used the same measurements for the pink organza saree blouse, despite my clear email stating that those measurements were only for the Kanvi silk blouse, which was with sleeves.
I would also like to address a point raised during my WhatsApp conversation with your customer service agent, where I was informed that a refund could not be processed because incorrect measurements were submitted by us. This statement is factually incorrect, and the following clearly proves this.
First, the measurements submitted on your website clearly specify that blouses with sleeves were selected only for the Kanvi silk saree and not for the pink organza saree. Despite this, the organza blouse was delivered without sleeves, which itself confirms that a different set of measurements was used and registered for this blouse.
Second, we had a detailed video call with your team, during which my daughter’s measurements were taken live by the person involved in stitching the blouse. These measurements were confirmed during the call. This clearly shows that corrected and separate measurements were provided and acknowledged by your team.
2. Design confirmation and communication with your team
We had several detailed conversations with Shweta, and I have WhatsApp records of these discussions.
During these conversations, we clearly stated that we did not want the blouse design shown in the product image. We shared a different blouse design, which Shweta confirmed was acceptable. The design was approved over WhatsApp and also confirmed on call.
I repeatedly asked whether your stitching team would be able to execute this design properly and requested to be informed if there were any limitations. We were assured that there would be no issue.
3. Saree quality issues
When we received the saree, the quality was extremely disappointing.
There were hard embroidery threads visibly coming out of the fabric, especially on the pallu. The finishing was very poor, and the fabric quality was not up to the expected standard. Based on my experience of wearing sarees for many years, the quality does not justify the price paid.
4. Blouse stitching and fitting issues
The blouse is the main concern.
It has been stitched very poorly and does not sit on the body properly. The cups are badly constructed and fall away from the body, making the blouse unwearable. The measurements are incorrect, and the blouse is much larger than required. Even alteration will not resolve the issue due to the way the blouse has been constructed.
5. Overall experience and concern
Considering the repeated confusion, incorrect attribution of fault to the customer, multiple confirmations, time spent on calls and video sessions, poor fabric quality, and unacceptable tailoring, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome.
6. Resolution requested
I request that Mirraw accept the return of this order and process a refund. The claim that incorrect measurements were submitted by us is not supported by the facts outlined above.
If Mirraw considers itself a professional organisation, I would expect a fair and reasonable resolution. Otherwise, I will be left with no option but to share my experience publicly.
Please let me know the next steps for initiating the return and refund process
