Rose gold plating is a thin layer of rose gold applied to the surface of the earrings. It gives the earrings a warm, pinkish hue that's characteristic of rose gold. Note that "rose gold plated" means the base metal of the earrings is likely a different material (often sterling silver or brass) with a rose gold plating on top.
